Pitching a story

Contributors sign in and send a pitch from the newsroom: a title, a section and a few sentences on the story.
An editor accepts or declines it, with a note either way. A decision is final.
An accepted pitch becomes a draft in your name. Write it, send it to review, and an editor will publish it or send it back with notes.
